Adani Green Energy Shares Soar Nearly 11% After Q2 Profit Jumps 28%.

Shares of Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) surged almost 11% on Wednesday, a day after the company reported a strong 28% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the September quarter, driven by robust performance in its renewable energy segment.

The stock climbed 10.80% to close at ₹1,113.05 on the BSE after hitting an intraday high of ₹1,145 — up nearly 14%. On the NSE, shares ended 10.79% higher at ₹1,112.60.

For Q2 FY26, Adani Green posted a consolidated net profit of ₹644 crore, compared to ₹515 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from power supply rose to ₹2,776 crore from ₹2,308 crore a year earlier. However, total income slipped to ₹3,249 crore from ₹3,396 crore, while total expenses marginally increased to ₹2,874 crore.

Ashish Khanna, CEO of Adani Green Energy, said the company continues to make “steady progress” on its 30 GW renewable energy project at Khavda in Gujarat — billed as the world’s largest such facility. “We are consistently adopting innovative renewable technologies and digitalising operations to enhance efficiency, execution, and safety,” Khanna added.

Broader Adani Group stocks also ended higher. Adani Energy Solutions gained 5.05%, Rose 3.26%, Ambuja Cements climbed 2.95%, Adani Ports advanced 2.68%, and Adani Total Gas gained 2.15%. Adani Enterprises, Sanghi Industries, and ACC also closed with modest gains.
