‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ box office Day 6: Vidya Balan film mints Rs 3.2 crore in India

Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi’s recently released film, ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’, surpassed Rs 3-crore mark in India in six days.

The film has been struggling at the box office during the weekdays by earning less than Rs 30 lakh every day. ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ received a lot of love and appreciation from critics and audiences alike. It is to be seen if there will be an incline in collection during its second weekend.

‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ hit theatres on April 19, 2024. The film clashed with Ektaa Kapoor’s ‘LSD 2’ at the box office. The romantic comedy hardly earned Rs 30 lakh at the box office on its fifth day at the box office. On Day 6, ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ is estimated to have earned Rs 31 lakh, which is a slight increase in numbers compared to the rest of the weekdays.

The six-day total collection of ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ now stands at Rs 3.2 crore at the domestic box office.

‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ marks Shirsha Guha Thakurta’s directorial debut. The romantic comedy film features Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D’Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy in lead roles. The film is jointly written by Suprotim Sengupta, Amrita Bagchi and Eisha Chopra.

‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ marks Ileana’s first film after embracing motherhood. She last featured in ‘The Big Bull’ alongside Abhishek Bachchan. Meanwhile, Sendhil was last seen in the 2022 series, ‘Doom Patrol’. His last Hindi film appearance was in Raj and DK’s acclaimed, ‘Shor in the City’.
