Ramayana: Ranbir Kapoor’s Ram and Sai Pallavi’s Sita Share a Heartwarming Moment in New Poster
The makers of Ramayana have unveiled a new poster featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, offering fans a glimpse of the tender bond between the iconic characters.
Ram and Sita’s Sweet Moment
Set against a serene riverside backdrop, the poster shows Ram and Sita dressed in shades of orange. In the heartwarming scene, Ram is seen gently fixing Sita’s hair as she smiles shyly.
The simple yet intimate moment beautifully captures the warmth between Siya and Ram. Sharing the poster, the makers celebrated the “timeless bond of Siya Ram.”
Jai Jai Ram: First Song to Release Today
The excitement around Ramayana is set to grow further with the release of the film’s first song, Jai Jai Ram. The track has been composed by Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman, with lyrics penned by Dr Kumar Vishwas.
The song brings together two of India’s most popular playback singers, Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film’s soundtrack.
Makers Announce the Beginning of Ramayana’s Musical Journey
The makers had earlier revealed that the musical journey of Ramayana would begin on Ganesh Chaturthi with the unveiling of the Siya Ram poster, followed by the release of Jai Jai Ram.
In their announcement, the team said that the auspicious occasion would mark the beginning of the film’s musical journey, with the poster scheduled to be unveiled at 7:30 AM IST before the first song followed.
The makers also shared a message seeking the blessings of Ganpati Bappa as they embarked on the musical journey of the highly anticipated epic.
More About Ramayana
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana is being developed as a two-part cinematic adaptation of the Hindu epic. Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi portrays Sita. Yash will be seen as Ravana, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman and Sunny Deol as Hanuman.
The film’s music is also expected to be one of its biggest attractions. AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer are collaborating on the ambitious project, bringing together two acclaimed composers for the soundtrack.
Produced by Namit Malhotra, Ramayana will be released in two parts. Ramayana: Part One is slated for a worldwide release on November 6, 2026, followed by its theatrical release in India on November 8. The second part is scheduled to arrive during Diwali 2027.
