Salman Khan Opens Up About Severe Health Issues on Kapil Sharma Show.

Salman Khan made a striking appearance on the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, kicking off the new season as its first guest. The 58-year-old actor appeared fit and energetic, shutting down recent speculation about his health and physical condition. However, during the episode, Salman candidly revealed he is battling several serious health issues, even as he continues to work tirelessly in the film industry.

Salman Talks Health and Marriage

While responding to host Kapil Sharma’s question about marriage, Salman turned reflective. He joked about the financial risks of divorce, stating that at this stage in his life, he wouldn’t want to start over from scratch if a marriage ended.

“I’m breaking bones every day—my ribs are fractured. I’m still working despite having trigeminal neuralgia, a brain aneurysm, and an AV malformation. Yet I keep going,” he said.

He added with a mix of humour and honesty:
“All this is going on, and if a wife takes half of it when her mood changes… Had this happened when I was younger, maybe I could have earned it all back. But starting over now—it’s tough.”

Not the First Time Salman’s Spoken About Health

Salman previously discussed his battle with trigeminal neuralgia in 2017 during a promotional event for Tubelight. Known as the “suicide disease” due to its intense pain, trigeminal neuralgia is a nerve disorder that causes sudden, stabbing facial pain and can severely affect quality of life.

Understanding the Conditions Salman Mentioned

Trigeminal Neuralgia: A chronic nerve condition that results in sudden, intense facial pain. It affects the trigeminal nerve, and even light touch or chewing can trigger severe episodes.

Brain Aneurysm: A bulging, weakened area in a brain blood vessel that can rupture and cause a life-threatening hemorrhagic stroke. Often symptomless unless it bursts.

AV Malformation (AVM): A rare and abnormal tangle of blood vessels connecting arteries and veins, disrupting normal blood flow. Commonly found in the brain or spine, AVMs can lead to serious complications if they rupture.

Despite these ongoing health battles, Salman Khan continues to work at full pace, staying active in front of the camera and interacting with fans—proving, once again, his resilience and dedication to his craft.
