Saudi Arabia Intercepts 6 Houthi Ballistic Missiles Targeting Taif, Yanbu

A coalition backing Yemen’s internationally recognised government intercepted and destroyed six ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi militia.

Coalition spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki al-Maliki said on Thursday. According to al-Maliki, Saudi air defence systems successfully foiled an attempted attack targeting the cities of Taif and Yanbu.

He warned that further attacks or violations by the Houthis would face a firm response.

“Escalations and violations by the terrorist Houthi militia will be dealt with firmly,” al-Maliki said.
