Adult star Stormy Daniels on Tuesday registered her testimony in court.

In connection with Donald Trump’s hush money trial, saying that the former US President was “wearing satin pajamas” when he welcomed her to his hotel suite at a celebrity golf tournament in 2006.

Daniels, also known as Stephanie Clifford, appeared in court dressed in all black attire and opened her testimony by recounting her childhood, detailing the challenges of being raised by a single mother who occasionally vanished for days at a stretch.

She informed the court that she began dancing in a club at age 17.

“I started dancing on the weekend, which was actually kind of cool because I didn’t have to miss classes,” Daniels said, adding that the pay was better than “shoveling manure”, news agency Reuters reported. When asked about her first meeting with Donald Trump at the celebrity golf tournament in 2006 in Tahoe, Daniels said she went to help promote the tournament and she met Trump on the golf course.

“It was a very brief encounter,” BBC quoted the adult star as saying about her first meeting with Trump. Daniels, who was paid $130,000 to keep quiet about allegedly having sex with Donald Trump, told the jurors that the former President had invited her to dinner via his bodyguard, Keith Schiller.

“What did you say at that time?” Prosecutor Susan Hoffinger asked, to which Daniels said, ‘No’. “I said, well, I could always go to this, not that I ever would,” Daniels said. “And (her publicist) said, wait no, this is amazing… if nothing else you’ll have a great story and it’ll get you out of this dinner”.

Daniels said she just expected to have dinner with Trump, but he greeted her at his hotel suite wearing only satin pajamas, Reuters reported. “I said, ‘Does Hugh Hefner know you stole his pajamas?” Daniels recalled saying.

“Then I told Trump to change, and he politely obliged,” she added.
