“Minneapolis Shooter Robin Westman Left Chilling Messages on Weapons, Including ‘Kill Trump’ and ‘Nuke India'”
Minneapolis School Shooting: Shooter Left Disturbing Messages on Weapons
The gunman who opened fire on Wednesday at a church service for schoolchildren in Minneapolis, killing two students, had messages such as “Kill Donald Trump” and “Nuke India” written on his firearms, according to a video on his now-deleted YouTube channel.
The shooter, identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman, fired dozens of rounds using a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol at the Annunciation Catholic School. Westman was later found dead in the parking lot, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Court records indicate that Westman had legally changed their name from Robert in 2020, identifying as female.
On a YouTube channel titled “Robin W,” at least two videos were posted before the channel was removed. One 10-minute video, shot on a mobile phone, showed a cache of weapons, ammunition, and loaded magazines with disturbing inscriptions. Some of the messages included:
-
“Kill Donald Trump” and “Kill Trump now”
-
“Israel must fall” and “Burn Israel”
-
“Nuke India”
-
“Where is your God?” and “For the children”
The video also displayed a letter addressed to the shooter’s family, apologizing for the impact of the attack. Names of previous school shooters were scrawled on some magazines, and parts of the messages were written in Cyrillic script.
A second video, nearly 20 minutes long, featured two journals: one over 150 pages written in Cyrillic, and another more than 60 pages, with its last entry dated August 21, 2025, also in Cyrillic.
US Homeland Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed the authenticity of the video, describing the inscriptions as evidence of a “deeply sick murderer.”
Officials noted that Westman legally purchased all the weapons, had no known criminal record, and acted alone.
President Donald Trump ordered flags flown at half-staff nationwide in mourning. The shooting at Annunciation Catholic School marks the 146th such incident in the United States since January.
