A video of the two interacting at the hotel surfaced online, prompting an X user to suggest that their friendly exchange hinted at a romantic relationship.

Ameesha has now responded to the speculation, sarcastically calling out the social media user for reading romantic meaning into a casual gesture.

The viral video shows Ameesha with her hand on Hardik Pandya’s shoulder as she smiles and introduces the cricketer to her friends.

Sharing the clip on X, a user wrote, “The way Ameesha Patel put her hand on Hardik Pandya’s shoulder during the party at a hotel in Bengaluru. All the Reddit rumours seem to be coming true.”

Ameesha responded through her Instagram Stories by sharing a screenshot of the post and taking a sarcastic dig at the user.

She wrote, “So true ya. My god ur correct…truly romantic way my hand was on him. I don’t know u but surely u don’t have a girl even as a friend. It’s time u do have one before posting hence on such things.”

With her response, the actor made it clear that she viewed the interaction as a friendly gesture rather than evidence of a romantic relationship.

Ameesha Patel on Marriage and Finding the Right Partner

Ameesha has previously opened up about her views on relationships and marriage. During a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia last year, the actor revealed that she had been in a serious relationship in the past, but her partner did not support her decision to pursue a career in the film industry.
