Sooraj Pancholi Addresses Disha Salian Case, Says He Never Met Her: ‘Nothing To Hide’

Actor Sooraj Pancholi has spoken publicly about the renewed focus on his name in connection with the death of Disha Salian, the former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Following the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registering an FIR in the case, Sooraj denied having ever met Disha or Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray.

In a statement posted on social media, Sooraj addressed reports and claims that have linked his name to the case over the past several years. He said he had decided to speak publicly because he wanted certain facts to be clearly placed on record.

“For the last few years, my name has been dragged into the controversy surrounding the unfortunate demise of Late Disha Salian through various media reports and statements,” the actor said.

Sooraj categorically denied any personal connection with Disha or Aaditya Thackeray. “I want to say this out loud and very clearly! I have never met Late Disha Salian in my life, directly or indirectly. I have also never met Aditya Thackeray in my life,” he stated.

Sooraj Pancholi Says CBI, Police Have Already Questioned Him

The actor also spoke about his interactions with investigating agencies. According to Sooraj, both the CBI and police had questioned him in the past, and his statement was recorded around four to five years ago.

“I have nothing to hide,” he said, adding that he remains ready to cooperate with authorities if they require additional information or want to question him again as part of the investigation.

Sooraj explained that he had previously avoided responding to every report or claim involving his name. However, he said the continued references to him in connection with Disha’s death eventually prompted him to break his silence.

Sooraj Calls Repeated Claims Against Him ‘Unfair’

Sooraj said that repeatedly associating his name with the case without evidence was “unfair and upsetting.” He urged people to establish facts before making or circulating claims about his alleged involvement.

The actor also appealed to authorities to look into what he described as “malicious propaganda and false narratives” surrounding the case. He argued that the death of one person should not become a basis for damaging another individual’s reputation without supporting evidence.

“A headline is not evidence. A debate is not evidence,” Sooraj said, emphasizing the need to distinguish between allegations, speculation and established facts.

The actor concluded by saying that he continues to have faith in the law and the investigating agencies. He expressed confidence that the truth would eventually emerge through the investigation.
