CID to probe BJP leader’s alleged derogatory remarks against Karnataka Minister

The Karnataka Home Ministry has handed over the case involving BJP MLC CT Ravi and Karnataka Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

The CID will now examine the audio and visual evidence related to allegations that Ravi used derogatory and unparliamentary words against Hebbalkar during a recent legislative session.

The CID will examine audio and visual evidence of alleged derogatory remarks made by BJP leader CT Ravi against Karnataka Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar during a legislative session. The Home Ministry transferred the case to the CID for detailed investigation.
