Punjabi actor and comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi has finally spoken out about the controversy surrounding allegations linking him to Bigg Boss 20 contestant Love Gill. Ghuggi said, “Today, when we are able to speak, we will definitely talk about it. But I would like to say that it is possible that there was an agenda against me. But if that girl, who has just started her career, who has a family, what will be her condition today?”

The actor also appealed to social media users to exercise restraint instead of circulating unverified claims that could damage someone’s personal and professional life.

Addressing Love Gill’s silence over the controversy, Ghuggi said he had made enquiries about her well-being. He indicated that she might be experiencing emotional distress because of the allegations and the attention surrounding the matter.

Describing himself as mentally strong, the comedian said he was concerned about the possibility of the controversy having a serious impact on the young contestant.

He stated, “I am a strong person. I am mentally strong. I am not the kind of person who will die in the process of committing suicide. I don’t know if I have been destroyed. But I am a human being. If this affects that girl, if her life is in danger, then what will you think? What have we achieved?”

His remarks highlighted his concern about the potential consequences of online speculation and the spread of personal allegations without verification.

Ghuggi also made it clear that he would not remain silent if the allegations continued to circulate. Dismissing the claims as baseless, he expressed confidence that the authorities would investigate the matter and take appropriate steps.

He said, “I don’t want to talk much here. I just want to say that I am thankful to those who have shown tolerance to this issue. This is a baseless issue. It is a matter of revelation. It is a matter of head and foot. I don’t know who will take care of it, but the police will do their job. We will definitely move it to court.”
